Using Moroccan Henna: For Hair Use: allow dye release for 1-2 hours with your favorite warm liquid, and optional hair or essential oils Apply and leave in your hair for 3-4 hours. Very easy to use! Optional: you can mix indigo into your henna recipe (mixed separately first for dye release) to colour your hair brown or black tones. For dark brown tones, use 60-70% indigo and 40-30% henna. For brown tones use 50% indigo and 50% henna For body art use Moroccan henna will be ready to use in 6-8 hours. Our Moroccan Henna body art recipe: Using 2 tbsp of powder, add enough warm lemon juice, water or tea to the powder to make it the consistency of mashed potatoes. Optional: add 1 tsp of molasses, brown sugar or fructose. Allow to sit for 2-3 hours. Add 1 tsp of essential oils such as our Organic Lavender, Organic Tea Tree, Cajeput or Eucalyptus.
