Our luxurious Moroccan Henna Queen has arrived up North in beautiful Canada.
Our Canadian clients have been waiting for Moroccan henna to arrive, don’t have to wait any longer. You can purchase our Moroccan Henna online at Henna Sooq Canada.
Moroccan Henna has a quick 2 hour dye-release which is why many call it their “emergency henna”, for hair use. It works amazingly well with Indigo to create beautiful, and natural brown and black tones.
It’s a great choice for those not looking for intense red tones. It will give a wonderful copper-red tone when used alone.
Using Moroccan Henna:
- For Hair Use: allow dye release for 1-2 hours with your favorite warm liquid, and optional hair or essential oils
- Apply and leave in your hair for 3-4 hours. Very easy to use!
- Optional: you can mix indigo into your henna recipe (mixed separately first for dye release) to colour your hair brown or black tones. For dark brown tones, use 60-70% indigo and 40-30% henna. For brown tones use 50% indigo and 50% henna
- For body art use Moroccan henna will be ready to use in 6-8 hours.
- Our Moroccan Henna body art recipe: Using 2 tbsp of powder, add enough warm lemon juice, water or tea to the powder to make it the consistency of mashed potatoes. Optional: add 1 tsp of molasses, brown sugar or fructose. Allow to sit for 2-3 hours. Add 1 tsp of essential oils such as our Organic Lavender, Organic Tea Tree, Cajeput or Eucalyptus. Mix well and allow to sit another 3-4 hours. Check for paste readiness. Add more liquid to thin it out until it’s the consistency of pancake batter or thick yoghurt. Place into your applicator and use.
Moroccan Henna powder should be kept in the freezer, fridge or a cool, dark place, and your henna powder will stay fresh for up to two years if it is kept in this way). Mixed paste cannot be frozen as Moroccan henna does not freeze well.
Moroccan henna paste is best used fresh.
