When I had the flu, everything fell apart. Well slowly apart.
Moms out there know that once mom gets sick, all things stand still. That means piles of clothes, dishes, so many chores to do, and is anyone making dinner? I so wished someone would have come, and cooked for us. But really, I wasn’t even really hungry. I completely loss my appetite.
Last Tuesday, I started to feel the chill creeping up into my body. So from then, until Friday, I couldn’t even move. I was worn out. During the weekend I forced myself, to get out and about. Now I’m left here with a dry, rough cough. We’ll see when that goes away. At least I can type 🙂
As a business woman, I was stuck too because I am basically doing most of the work here. I couldn’t drag myself to do much of anything. I barely answered the phone, and we didn’t get orders done during that time. So if you were a client whose order was delayed or even if you called, and couldn’t reach me, please accept our apologies. When something like this happens, know that something must be wrong on our end, either with someone’s health or a family member.
During that time (and I was expecting this), our new Fall Crop order came in from India. Luckily, my honey was here to put everything into cold storage for us. If you can believe it, a lot of the time I unload, and pack away 10+ kg boxes of products. This isn’t just 5 boxes or 10 boxes. It is usually at least 40 or more boxes. So that got done!
Can you guess what we got from India?! It is so amazing that I had to write this blog to tell you all as soon as I could. Usually I introduce new products one at a time, via one blog post at a time. But I couldn’t!! The suspense is too much.
We have organic rajasthani indian henna (body art), organic indigo for hair, and organic cassia obovata. We found a USDA, and Ecocert certified farm/company in India who had these herbs, and many more! We hope to eventually expand most of our herbs to an organic selection. We’d like to see how they do first, and if this is something we see that all of our clients want. Please let us know!
This will mean that indigo, and cassia (Fall Crops 2008) will be on sale!!! We also don’t have any Rajasthani Indian henna for hair left from Fall 2007, so the Fall Crop 2008 will be moved for sale as Rajasthani Indian henna for hair. The same extremely finely sifted henna powder can be used for amazing hair results!
Other new products we received recently, and have to put up online and on our blog are: Henna Sooq’s Camellia Oil, Holographic Liquid Bling (glitter gel), and shampoo bar samples.
Well back to work. I’ll see about putting the new products up tonight and at least putting the cassia and indigo on sale too! Enjoy 🙂
