I’m interested in the Sukesh Ayurveda. Do you use it as a paste or can you add it to a moisturizing conditioner? Since it has cassia in it, I’m hoping it won’t make my grey hairs more noticeable. I’m also interested in the Aloe Vera powder. I wish you had more information on this. I know they are new. I’ll probably take advantage of the sale (Thank you!)and order both. Hopefully by the time my order arrives you have recipes and more information available.
Thanks for your post Jmason. You can use it as a paste or add it to your conditioner. Like any henna or aryurvedic herb it’s okay to do this. Only hair coloring herbs can be a little bit more tricky because of dye release.
We didn’t want to delay putting it up live because clients really wanted these products. We have been asked about them for some time now. I’m sorry about that. We’re compiling as much as we can right now and fast. We have plans for new recipes focusing on these products specifically by next week for sure, and then your order will be in hand. 🙂
Thanks Khadija! I just placed my order for Sukesh Ayurveda, aloe vera powder and Amla powder. I think I’ll try using the Sukesh Ayurveda like I do my henna glosses. I don’t wait for dye release. I just add it to moisturizing conditioner with some oils and apply to hair. Do I need to wrap my head in plastic wrap like I do for henna glosses? Can I use my steam to steam in the Sukesh Ayurveda like I do my henna glosses?
Yes exactly. That’s right. Yes do wrap it as well. Yes you can steam as well. Enjoy!!
I just received mine today & I’m going to use this weekend. Thx Khadijah for the awesome customer service
Anytime Meca. Our please. Always great to see you!! When you have a chance let us know how you liked it or not.
I got my order today! I’m not sure how to use aloe vera powder. Also, I don’t know how much Sukesh Ayurveda I should use. My order didn’t come with recipes or instructions for these products. Thanks for fast service!
Jmason, we’re coming up with new recipes but wanted to get the orders out right away and then individually assist clients. But the Sukesh you can use as much as you’d like to, even all of it if you need all of it for your hair length and thickness. You can mix it with your favorite liquid and use it as a treatment for the benefits of all of those herbs in the Sukesh Ayurveda. Let it sit on your hair 1-2 hours. For the aloe vera powder it’s added in addition to indigo, up to 5% of the recipe, or about 10% in other basic recipes to help it be less drying, and give the recipe more slip, and being easier to apply. Here are a few recipes using aloe vera powder and they can be used with any other herbs in similar ways. https://hennablogspot.com/ayurvedic-herbs-shikakai-soapnut/
