You can use henna paste to decorate on a variety of wood pieces. Henna sticks really well to wood, and it also does dye wood.
What you’ll need:
- wood box, or wood piece
- henna paste, fresh or old paste (it can be made with old henna powder, but make sure it’s well sifted so you can easily make designs)
- applicator, such as cones or bottles
- glitter gel (optional)
- rhinestones/gems (optional)
- paint (optional, you can pre-paint the wood piece and allow to dry)
- brushes
- craft Glue, like Modge Podge
- newspaper
