We love how Andy’s Blog: Andy’s Idea Factory starts her post off regarding her switch to all natural henna. She’s also a fabulously multi talented woman!
“Henna Gods, I am truly impressed. Granted, my mantra has been, “the Indian women have such beautiful hair…” so the results had to be good. But even so, my hair looks awesome. A more natural shade of red- slightly lighter than my natural brown tone (is that possible? is that from the chamomile?)- than I’ve ever had in the four years I’ve been tampering with colors with my stylist. Not wine red, not Redskins red, not Mahogany Obsidian red. I had been shooting for my mother’s red. Scottish/Irish red, dark Ginger. I think I’m finally there.Â
So how’d we get there? Here’s the last 48 hours…” you know you want to READ MORE
A few things that we really liked was how she visually photographed and kept track her steps.
She also was able to find a hair salon called Mountain Hair Studio to assist her in applying her all natural recipe, and were supportive of her decision to use henna and ayurvedic products such as from us here at Henna Sooq.
She also explains why she decided to use the recipe and ingredients she chose and details them here READ ONÂ (scroll down).
Thank you Andy for sharing your henna journey with us!
This product sounds great !
Great article. I agree with Andy’s observation that completing treatments are like nurturing a garden. I refer to the days I do my ayurvedic treatments (from the Henna Sooq)as my spa days. I pamper myself by doing hair, face, body and nail treatments on those days. Since I don’t henna, I am usually done within two or three hours. Like with a garden, I am reaping the hoped for happy results of the care, time and attention I give my hair. No fairy knots. No mats. A whole lot less shedding, breakage and dryness. Yay for me!
Jude thank you!! YEAH ! đŸ™‚
please let me know when the moroccan henna will be in. I have a number of items in the shopping cart but I would like to add this henna when it is available. Thank you.
