The aroma alone evokes so many happy memories. It is so distinctive that it can never been forgotten.
For several years I have been using this oil for hair treatments, on my face, and as an all-over body moisturizer. It can be added to henna/herbal mixes, too. Because I live in a cold climate, I warm the bottle in hot water and then pour the oil into a wide-mouth glass jar. It’s easier for me to access it that way when it’s solid.

First off, this stuff smells amazing! Like incense or something….so relaxing. I warmed it up in hot water, and then squeezed about a quarter size amount of it into my palm, and rubbed it along the length of my hair, concentrating on the ends. Then, I got another quarter sized amount and rubbed it into my scalp. I have baby fine, oily hair, and this winter, my scalp has been itchy and irritated….Cocoveda did the trick for my hair and scalp. I left it in my hair for a couple of hours and then washed and conditioned as usual. My scalp is no longer irritated, and my hair is super shiny…not weighted down at all. Love it so much! Did I already say that? Can’t say it enough!

Having a much curlier patch of hair at the back of my head, it is difficult to keep it in check all day. Cocoveda Hair Oil really works without the ‘oily’ look. I do have to liquify it in hot water in the sink but it applies so lightly to my hair. I love the ‘Ivory Soap’ fragrance, it always smells fresh even between shampoos. It also seems to work as a setting agent for my curls; they stay defined and don’t frizz/fluff out through the day. Yep, it is a great product !

I’ve suffered from hair loss as a result of intense stress, and only began to notice recently when I saw patches of my scalp peeking out… I used prescription topical treatments for a couple months, but couldn’t continue for the full 6 months recommended because they left my hair sticky and as a result, I needed to shampoo every single day, leaving my hair very dry. So I began looking for an alternative.
I’m used to pre-pooing my hair because I’m South Asian, so I decided to try this oil. Wow! I really do notice a difference in my hair after a few months of use as a pre-poo oil and moisturizing hair after washes with jojoba oil. My hair has more volume, and I truly think my hair is starting to recover from the hair loss, the patches of scalp are much smaller, and it makes me want to cry from joy.
