This class will cover the basics of pyrography including which tools to use, using a basic craft pyrography tool versus a professional pen, which tips to use, and outlining versus shading. We will work on a variety of materials including wood, leather, and cork. I will give you instruction in how to get started with simple patterns, tips on using transfers, handling smoke, and temperature settings for common materials including hardwood spoons and UGG boots to achieve the best results.
