    I am wondering if there is any risk on applying commercial hair dye over hair that has been coloured by Henna. I’ve been Henna-ing my hair for 2 years now and love it. However, I’d like to put in some lowlights because I find that my hair gets coloured too dark. Is there any danger to putting commercial hair dye on top of henna-ed hair, or vice versa?

    Thank you for your post Zen
    As long as the henna has been 100% pure henna and preferably BAQ henna, then you’ll have no issues using a chemical treatment.
