No one wants brick hard dry hair. There are many of our clients (new and current) who are really worried henna and ayurvedic herbs drying out their hair or maybe it’s even happened to you and you don’t know how to fix this.

This can be a huge deterrent for people using henna and ayurvedic herbs which is really unfortunate as henna is for every hair type and every person.

You’ll be left with rich, luxurious hair following these recommendations.

  • The best moisturizing ingredient you can add to your recipe is hands down our Organic Aloe Vera Powder. You only need a total of 5% of your whole recipe, which is only about 1 tsp per 100 grams.Make sure to add at least 3-4 tbsp of a rich, moisturizing hair oil to your recipe (per 100 grams of powder used), and mix well. Our recommend hair oils are our Organic Amla Oil or our Organic Argan Oil
  • You must co-wash your recipe out. Co-washing is when you wash and rinse out your ayurvedic and henna recipe using conditioner only.
  • Before applying your recipe you can pre-oil with a very light oil directly onto your hair such as our Organic Camellia Oil or our Organic Golden Jojoba Oil
  • You can use any of our hair oils to apply onto your hair after you co-wash your recipe out of your hair. Please leave this oil in your hair. Our best selling hair oil is our Cocoveda Hair Oil
  • We also recommend overnight hair oil treatments. Using your favorite Henna Sooq hair oil you’ll really enjoy using it as an overnight deep treatment. Just apply a very generous amount of hair oil onto your hair and wrap with a shower cap or plastic wrap. You can also do a protective style before wrapping your hair. Then apply towels over your pillows so as to not allow the oil to stain your sheets and pillow and leave this on all night. Wash out in the morning and style as desired
  • Indulge your hair with our Sweet Honey Enriching Hair Nourisher. A little goes a long way, and leaves your hair smelling invigorating and sweet. We also have several other conditioners you’ll love
  • Should you be taking what we call baby steps into the world of henna you can use our gloss bar line. Using what we consider gentle Ayurvedic treatments you can use our Organic Cassia or Sukesh Ayurveda. Add your choice of honey, yoghurt, conditioner or coconut milk to these recipes as desired. Mix these ingredients together well and then apply onto your hair

You’ll be left with the most gorgeous, silky, and healthy hair. All of this naturally and with no dryness!Â
