Henna Sooq are the official henna artists for National Geographic’s 1001 Inventions Family Festival.

Henna body art services are FREE! There is an amazing line up of events for this September 8th event! Don’t miss out.

This festival will be held at: National Geographic Museum, 1145 17th St NW, Washington, DC 20036. Starts at 10 am until 4 pm.

1001 Inventions Family Festival

Join us for a day of family fun surrounding our exhibition 1001 Inventions: Discover the Golden Age of Muslim Civilization. Free Museum admission is included!

Participate in workshops and hands-on activities provided by local vendors and National Geographic staff. Enjoy an arts and crafts bazaar, dance and musical performances, vendor displays, and a spire building competition. Local food trucks will be on site and raffles and photo opportunities will take place throughout the day!

Note: The Farragut North metro station will be closed, but we are accessible by Farragut West or a 10–15 minute walk from the Dupont Circle South exit.
