Our Henna Gloss Bar is the perfect all in one moisturizer, and conditioning Ayurvedic hair treatment. A henna gloss is a very easy to use henna product that will nourish the hair, strengthen, create vibrant shiny hair, promote hair growth, reduces itchy scalp, and will give your hair a touch of red color from the henna. 100% Organic!
How to use: slowly melt gloss bar on low heat on stovetop in pot. Do not microwave. Once gloss bar has fully melted you may use immediately or add other ingredients to customize your gloss. Suggested additions: coconut milk, essential oils etc.
Apply evenly throughout hair starting from the front and moving towards the back. Wrap hair. Leave on hair from 1-4 hours as desired. Wash out thoroughly and style as usual.
Getting the most out of your Henna Gloss:
- Standard Recipe, and Method of Use. Giving your hair a boost in color, and shine by doing this gloss treatment every 2-3 weeks. This can be used in between your henna coloring treatments, or as your main henna treatment. Will treat, and repair dry, damaged hair.
- Moisture+. Want add more of your favorite moisturizing ingredients to your Henna Gloss? Once you’ve slowly melted your Henna Gloss, add coconut milk, or any hair oils (olive oil, grapeseed, camellia, argan, jojoba, Cocoveda) to your gloss. Add anywhere from 2-4 tbps to your gloss. This will give your gloss the added moisture and slip you’re looking for.
- Your Hair. Your Way. Naturally! At Henna Sooq, we give you the tools to control your hair, henna, and Ayurvedic hair treatments. You can add any other ingredients you’d like to, to your Henna Gloss. There is no wrong ingredient. We recommending adding up to 2-4 tbps of added oils, conditioners, honey, and any other liquids. For essential oils you can add up to 10 -12 drops.
Can you add more henna dye/powder to this product for a boost in color? Will that affect the results?
Yes you can add more henna to increase color results.
Can you add commercial leave-in conditioners to the henna, like shea moisture black castor oil strengthen,grow & restore leave-in
Yes you can add that to your recipe, Rose, but do note it can dilute the color of your henna.
Can I add refined organic coconut oil to Red Raj or Henna Gloss Bar without diluting the strengthening effect?
Yes Brennan, that’s fine 🙂 It won’t dilute the results.
