You’ve gotten your shampoo/body handmade bar from Henna Sooq, and you want to squeeze out as many washes with this bar as possible.
You’re concerned it’s going to melt away, and worried you won’t get the most value for your dollar.
We understand! Handmade shampoo and body bars are not cheap!
We have a few recommendations that will you get the most out of shampoo and/or body bar, and have you coming back for more.
- Placing your shampoo or body bar on a clean surface, use a handheld soap cutter, or butter knife to slice 3 equal parts of your bar
- Use 1 of those parts at a time. Place the extra parts of your bar back inside its box until ready to use
- Keep your shampoo/body bar out of water, or from sitting in water
- Use an aerated soap dish/tray. We also really like this Organic Cotton Soap Saver (if they offered this wholesale, we’d be all over this savvy soap saver)
- Do not place your soap dish under or near your shower head or tap
- When lathering put a lot of that lather/soap in your palms (not right onto the soap), and then add extra water to boost the suds. The spread evenly over your hair, and body. Sometimes extra water is needed to give the soap a suds boost
- You can also slightly wet the bar and then run it throughout your hair. Put the bar down (away from water flow). Then use extra water on your hair to lather it fully
