Mix your cassia and soapnut and shikakai together in a bowl. Equal proportions of each or as desired. We recommend water, conditioner or apple cider vinegar. You can even use a combination of all 3 liquids. Mix well until consistency of a thick yoghurt. You can use this directly onto your hair by scooping up a handful at a time. Gently rub throughout as you normally would with shampoo. Be gentle on your strands by washing from the roots to length. You can also opt to leave this in your hair for up to 10 minutes. Then rinse or cowash the recipe out. Towel dry your hair and you can now moisturize your damp hair. Henna + Hibiscus + Cocoa Butter = moisture rich hair recipe. Mix your henna and hibiscus petal powder together in a bowl. Equal proportions of each or as desired. In another bowl over low heat slowly melt your cocoa butter wafers until fully melted. Allow to cool and then pour into your powder mix. Mix well until consistency of a thick yoghurt. You can add water, coconut milk or more cocoa butter if your mix is too dry. Apply onto your hair by sections. I’ve always found that doing four sections work the best. I usually start at the front and work towards the back. Once completed, wrap your hair and allow to stay in your hair 1-2 hours. Rinse out, dry and style as usual.
