We had a beautiful time at this past weekend’s Natural Hair & Beauty Show in Atlanta. I personally felt like I have been really missing out, and it completely awed me. This is our very first natural hair show, and it will certainly not be our last.
We had the pleasure of meeting Tasha LaRae of Arrested Development, and I personally got to do henna body art for her. Thank you Tasha!
We met many of our clients, and subscribers. We did extremely well at the show. We filled up pages of new subscribers who signed up for our mailing list. Thank you!
I got to meet Pamela, owner of Koils By Nature, and bought some of her products. I look forward to trying them out. I already started using their Replenishing Hair & Body Oil, which I love! I have a weakness for bergamot essential oil which is in this oil. I also bought a t-shirt from them, and their Moisturizing Shealoe Leave in Conditioner. They all smell really good. She’s local here in Maryland.
(Yes I’m short…and as light as my Italian half can be)
The retail set up of many vendors were beautiful, colorful, and very inspiring. There were so many attendees at the show on Saturday alone that the fire marshall was called, and they wouldn’t let anyone else in.
I also got myself some products from Mizani, as I’ve heard many good things about their line. The products I got are: Curl Replenish, and Perfect Curl Defining Cream Gel, and Curl Balance. These are all from the True Textures line they have. The scents are very light, and so far we’ve used the shampoo, and perfect curl. Perfect Curl absorbs really easily and quickly. Like almost as if it isn’t even there. It seems to be holding up well, so far.
We had a line up of our most popular products. Our Henna, and Cocoveda Hair Oil sold like fresh hot cakes. Many of our lovely guests and their children were adorned with our henna body art.
If you didn’t get a chance to get our brand new brochure at the show, we do apologize as we ran out of copies. Please print it out here and/or read: Maintaining a Natural Hair Regimen Using Henna and Ayurvedic Herbs. It prints on 8 X 14 (longer sheet of paper).
When your subscribers, facebook friends, and clients come up to us, and just embrace us, that in itself is a blessing and we are so grateful to have been so well received, and respected in our industry. We look forward to seeing you again at the next Natural Hair Show!

Hi Khadija! I was so happy to see you at the Natural Hair Show. I was there selling my wonderful accessories (www.earcandyaccessories.com) and had a wonderful experience at the show. I met so many people and saw plenty of beautiful hairstyles as well learned some new techniques. It was my first time doing the hair show and you are right it will not be my last. When I noticed that you had a booth at the hair show I made it a point to come and say hi. First of all your booth was on fire!! You were so busy selling your products and doing the henna body art. By the way, I had quite a few ladies come by my booth who had just gotten their henna body art done by you. And it was so neat and very pretty. I could see on their faces that they were extremely happy with your work!
I will be placing my next order for my henna very soon because I am down to my last box. Keep up the good work!
Duce

I agree, there was SO much to learn at the show and the people were all amazing and beautiful.
We were on big time fire. It was really busy. I love the essence of henna, and the good that vibrates around it.
Thank you again! Wishing you the best in business as well. Hope to see you at the next Natural Hair Event.
