- Where Henna Began: We will discuss the origins of henna and its historical uses in cultures with focus on current emerging modern trends, and styles.
- Safe Organic Henna: You’ll learn about the dangers of using “black henna”. Discover the differences between organic naturally crafted henna and chemically altered henna paste.
- Recipe and Mixing: A live demonstration of how to mix henna into paste including our very own exclusive Henna Sooq recipe.
- Henna Application: A live demonstration and interactive lesson on how to roll your own henna cone, and how to fill it with henna paste. Practice sheets will be given to you so that you may practice applying henna step by step. Every student will receive a freestyle henna body art tattoo.
- Henna Aftercare: Learn how to care for your henna design for the best color results, and ensuring long lasting henna designs.
- Hands on practice: Students are given the opportunity to practice creating their own designs on our practice sheets, on themselves, or on each other.
Every student receives: 100g BAQ henna powder, henna body art tattoo cone, henna design book, lemon sugar spray bottle (empty), 10 ml organic eucalyptus essential oil, aftercare balm, jacquard bottle with 3 tips, 1/2 oz glitter, triangle sheets (3), stencil, carrot bag, practice sheets, and recipe card.
Students also receive 25% off all Henna Sooq products purchased in studio.
