Henna is traditionally a healing plant. It’s beauty and history is like no other. Have you ever wondered how such a simple plant could do so much?

Henna, also known as mehndi, has been used for thousands of years, where the people have used it to beautify themselves, naturally color their hair, and sooth their pains.

The pains of cancer and of what women go through is tremendous. It’s a battle and a struggle. There are many ups and downs during the fight against cancer.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and during this time Henna Sooq donates their services and products to those battling breast cancer for absolutely no charge. We support the campaign against breast cancer and we see how we, as a henna company, can benefit our community and women.

Hand Foot Syndrome occurs when cancer patients take xeloda, and certain medications that cause this side affect. One of the most beautiful aspects of henna is the art you can create. This art beautifies, heals and rejuvenates your inner and outer self. It’s an experience every person should have at least once in their life time (and don’t hesitate if you become addicted to this beautiful art!).

Many women struggle with the loss of their hair during their chemo treatments. Henna brings beauty and healing to you. Henna crowns are a gorgeous henna adornment.

Here a fellow henna artist, Darcy of Henna Lounge, adorns Kim Thelen.
