Beauty Shot Of Happy Young Woman. Isolated On White

Toners are fantastic for closing the pores after cleansing the skin.  Here are some simple toner recipes for you to try after cleansing!

Green Tea Toner (perfect all purpose toner):

  • 1 tea bag of green tea
  • Distilled or filtered water

Steep tea for approximately 10 minutes.  Take out the tea bag and let cool.  Wipe green tea toner all over face after cleansing. Green tea toner keeps in the fridge for up to a week.

Organic Amla Powder Toner
Organic Amla  Powder is a fantastic Ayurvedic toner that will tighten pores and improve skin texture. It is best to use Organic Amla Powder after other cleansers such as clay masques as Organic Amla Powder toner can actually trap dirt in the pore. Use Organic Amla Powder from the Henna Sooq in tea form, scrub, or as a facial pack, or tea (tightens pores after cleansing).  To make an Amla tea, steep 1 tablespoon of Amla powder in 1-2 cups of hot water for an hour.  Strain and let cool.  Wipe all over face (avoiding mouth and eyes) after cleansing (especially after deep cleansing).  To use Organic Amla as a scrub, add a dime-sized amount of the powder in your palm and mix with water to create a paste.  Gently rub all over face avoiding the eye and mouth area. Leave on for 3-4 minutes, and then rinse paste off.

Rosewater Toner
Rosewater is especially great for aging and drying skin. We now carry Moroccan rosewater that is absolutely amazing! Shop Moroccan Rose water.

To use rosewater as a toner, just pour a little on a cotton bud or pad and swipe over the face after cleansing or mist onto your face from our convenient mist bottle.
