Spa MudHow to use:

Place desired amount in bowl (about 1 tbsp for one facial application), and add very hot water so that it slightly covers your rhassoul clay. Let it absorb the water from about 5-10 minutes.

For a facial mask you can add rose water as well for anti-inflammatory properties.

Apply the paste onto your damp face and leave it for about 10 minutes. Keep the mud damp with a water spray or simply by applying little water with wet fingers. Rinse your face with warm water. Pat dry, and moisturize with one of our organic oils.

Naturally this the clay draws out excess oils and bacteria, leaving the skin feeling clean, refreshed and nourished. You can also use some rose water on cotton to tighten the pores.

Store any additional or leftover rhassoul clay in a cool, dark place or your fridge.

For hair you can mix the rhassoul clay the same as above, but with more liquid to make it more fluid. You can use this to cleanse and wash your hair directly in your shower. You can also try our Moroccan Clay shampoo bar.

Our Hair recipe: (the proportions of this recipe do depend on how much hair you have. Please adjust as desired)

-1 cup coconut milk, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp marshmallow root, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 tbsp rhassoul clay.

Mix all dry ingredients together, and add warm water until just thickened and absorbed. Allow rhassoul clay to absorb water really well so that it’s smooth and creamy. Then add these ingredients slowly together with your liquids (honey, and coconut milk). Mix all of these ingredients very well. Optional, you can add other ayurvedic herbs to this recipe for added benefits). Apply onto your hair in the shower (as it may drip), and leave on for 5-10 minutes. Wash out thoroughly.
