Essential oils are concentrated extracts of many different plants and are widely used as a natural means of healing the body, mind and soul. Some essential oils are calming such as lavender, while as others can heal the skin and scalp, such as sweet orange. Here at Henna Sooq, we offer 12 essential oils (new essential oils are always being added to our product line) that are suitable for the use on hair and skin.   Please keep in mind that some essential oils are not safe during pregnancy.

To use essential oils, always dilute them in a carrier oil such as Organic Golden Jojoba oil, coconut, grapeseed or olive, or add them to your henna or cassia treatments, washes, conditioners and hair rinses and  misters.  Do not use essential oils without diluting them first (in treatments or oils), as they’re very concentrated and can cause irritation to the scalp and skin if not diluted. For scent, add just a few drops, but for oils, go here for proper essential oil dilution.
