Bar & Bat Mitvah Henna Parties!

Bar & Bat Mitvah Henna Parties!

Over the last few months I have been fully booked every weekend with henna parties for the holidays, birthdays and especially bar/bat mitvahs. They have all been amazing and so much fun! From the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore to Dave & Buster’s and intimate restaurant settings they have all been really fun. Everyone is so creative in choosing out their designs. Freestyle henna art is one of my personal favorite requests. It allows for me to create something unique and beautiful. Did you know that in freestyle henna you always get a little bit more then the standard designs? Freestyle henna. May the force be with you & cute climbing lizard. More freestyle creations requested by the moms at the party. Someone definitely likes tattoos. When the design is like a piece of jewelry. Love it! I’m really fortunate to have such an awesome job #ilovemyjob. At the Henna Sooq, I get to create my own schedule, and have that flexibility to me a mom, and wife. Mind you, it’s a lot of work and there are many aspects I don’t enjoy like book keeping and inventory. They completely stress me out. My new focus on my henna art combined with social media makes this bliss. It’s super relaxing and fun. I’m not rushing anymore but really enjoying every bit of paste laid down. Plus the photos I can get to share on our IG are priceless. Book with us soon! Call us through our booking line at 443-254-0736. Would love to be apart of your event and even work on a...

Why I don’t do henna at certain events

Why I don’t do henna at certain events

I absolutely love doing henna body art tattoos. I think it’s such an exciting job, super fun, and everyone I meet is amazing. It’s definitely a job worth being jealous of. Don’t worry, I still love you! BUT there is always a but. There are some events I just don’t do. I’m about that positive energy, happy people, natural organic lifestyle, and people who respect me for who I am. When I know my energy is going be rocked downwards I tend to stay away. I believe it also took me at least 3-4 years to be a descent henna artist, and another 3-4 years to become a wonderful henna artist. Meaning that I always enjoyed doing henna but in my early years I was kind of impatient. Now as I’ve grown I’ve learned more about myself and what about henna that makes me happy. My happiness radiates to others, and this makes me even more happy. I take more pictures, share on social media, and make sure my henna is perfect. Do You Have Black Henna? No. We absolutely do not apply or use black henna nor chemically based henna. We also won’t use the henna you have either. This is one of my major turnoffs. The straw that breaks this camels back is when the event organizers allow this, and it doesn’t seem to bother them. I’m sure to always ask ahead of time if there will be black henna at the venue. The attendees think that one henna is red and the other is black. Red henna is actually real, natural henna in it’s true form....
