Getting The Most Out of Your Shampoo & Body Bars

Getting The Most Out of Your Shampoo & Body Bars

You’ve gotten your shampoo/body handmade bar from Henna Sooq, and you want to squeeze out as many washes with this bar as possible. You’re concerned it’s going to melt away, and worried you won’t get the most value for your dollar. We understand! Handmade shampoo and body bars are not cheap! We have a few recommendations that will you get the most out of shampoo and/or body bar, and have you coming back for more. Placing your shampoo or body bar on a clean surface, use a handheld soap cutter, or butter knife to slice 3 equal parts of your bar Use 1 of those parts at a time. Place the extra parts of your bar back inside its box until ready to use Keep your shampoo/body bar out of water, or from sitting in water Use an aerated soap dish/tray. We also really like this Organic Cotton Soap Saver (if they offered this wholesale, we’d be all over this savvy soap saver) Do not place your soap dish under or near your shower head or tap When lathering put a lot of that lather/soap in your palms (not right onto the soap), and then add extra water to boost the suds. The spread evenly over your hair, and body. Sometimes extra water is needed to give the soap a suds boost You can also slightly wet the bar and then run it throughout your hair. Put the bar down (away from water flow). Then use extra water on your hair to lather it fully Do you have any savvy tips? Share them with...

Our shampoo bars are one of our best sellers. This informative blog post will help you decide on which shampoo bar is best for you. You will love our shampoo bars! Our shampoo bars come in full size bars of 4.25 (125 grams) and sample sizes of 1.5 oz (40 grams). We take great care in our shampoo bar formulations for best results. Our bars are superfatted.  This means that extra oils and butters are added to the bars during formulation to ensure a rich, creamy nourishing bar for your hair type and regimen. When using our shampoo bars, we recommend you break the bar up into three pieces and use one at a time as it will help you create a rich lather when applying to your body and hair. Allow your bar dry out completely before the next use. Rotate between two bars to ensure that it is completely dried out before use or as needed. Wet the hair with warm water thoroughly.  Rub the bar in the palms of your hands until you achieve a rich lather.  If you have hard water, it may be beneficial to add a few drops of lemon juice or vinegar to your palms just before lathering to help create a lather.  Rub the lather gently through your hair.  If your hair has a waxy feel, use a diluted acid rinse of  2tbs lemon juice, vinegar or apple cider vinegar in 2.5 cups of water.  Leave the rinse on for 3-4 minutes and then rinse out.  Shampoo bars are alkaline which is needed to clean the hair, but the acidic rinse...
